Examination Schedule
Exams begin for all students on Friday, June 1, 2018. A general schedule is available on the website under the documents tab. All students will be receiving a personalized examination schedule in early May.
All morning exams begin at 9:00 am and all afternoon exams begin at 1:00 pm. Exams in Grades 7 – 10 are one and a half hours and in Grades 11 -12 they are two hours. Students entitled to extra time will receive up to an additional 50% extra time at the end this time period.
Students are to be in uniform for the examinations and should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the exam.
During the exam period, the cafeteria will not be open and students will not have the use of their lockers.
Grade 8 Graduation
On Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 our Grade 8 Graduation will be held in the gymnasium starting at 5:00 pm. Gym doors will open at 4:15 and seating is on a first come basis. The ceremony will last until approximately 6:00 pm and will be followed by light refreshments. Students are to be dressed for this formal occasion (males – shirt & tie and females – dress or skirt) and will be wearing Graduation gowns for the ceremony. All students are to arrive at the school by 4:30 pm. You should have received a formal invitation in the mail and are asked to RSVP to Ms. Victoria Escamillan at victoria.escamillan@crestwood.on.ca so that all arrangements can be made. There is no limit to the number of guests you are allowed to bring to the ceremony and we hope everyone will be able to join us to recognize the accomplishments of the Grade 8 Class of 2018.
Grade 12 Graduation
On Thursday, June 21st, 2018 our Grade 12 Graduation will be held in the gymnasium starting at 5:00 pm. Gym doors will open at 4:15 and seating is on a first come basis. The ceremony will last until approximately 6:15 pm and will be followed by light refreshments. Students are to be dressed for this formal occasion (males – shirt & tie and females – dress or skirt) and will be wearing Graduation gowns for the ceremony. All students are to arrive at the school by 4:15 pm. There is no limit to the number of guests you are allowed to bring to the ceremony and we hope everyone will be able to join us to recognize the accomplishments of the Grade 12 Class of 2018. You should have received a formal invitation and response card in the mail and asked to return them to the office by Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 (please ensure you complete both sides of the response cards).
Grade 12 Prom
On Friday, May 11th, 2018 Crestwood Preparatory College will hold its annual prom at The Bayview Country Club (25 Fairway Heights Dr, Thornhill, ON L3T 3X1). All students in Grade 12 are invited to purchase tickets for the event. Tickets are on sale in Mrs. Santomero’s room until Friday, May 4th at the end of the school day and are $100.00 per person. The evening will begin at 6:30 pm and will include dinner, dancing and some fun awards voted upon by the Graduates. Dress for the evening is formal attire. Students wishing to bring guests from outside the school will need to complete a guest registration form and return it no later than Thursday, May 10th.
